The 200th Blog entry to roll this blog together like a scroll
I noticed that my 200th entry was a lame one and decided that If I was gonna go out with a bang, my 200th should be one to flippin remember! Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the 200th Simplime blog entry!!!
So, its the 200th entry...what to write. Through the almost 2 years that I have been a member of this blog, Ive met a handful of extreme best friends, gone through trips that changed me, and experienced plenty of boredom..So, lets take it back to the very first entry...It all really started because of Taylor Weston. Nikki had a thing for the young lad and wanted me to find out more about him..One thing led to another and I created my profile. Sitting at my keyboard I thought..What name should I be called to be known as to all of Mindsay? What name? Such a hard decision..One was always better than the other...But finally I decided..Simply Me...But wiping the plain out of that title, it morphed into "Simplime" To many confused souls, it was pronounced as "simp lime" But here and now, that confusion is set right.
So, shortly after I got my blog, I began to develop what would turn into an amazing friendship with a gorgeous lass Caroline Lemmon. We created raisin moments, candy names for all the boys we fancied, the hip dance, ritual visits to McDonalds for nuggets, and created a memorable, often ventured trip all the way down River road to Austins house, where we marveled at "the house Austin sleeps in"...She became , as Anne of Green Gables would say, "My bosom friend, a very kindred spirit" She was that quirky girl, who fell head over heels for the guys, had a sense of humor to kill off all other senses of humor, and an amazing point of view. We clicked, we bonded, we crossed all barriers, we were Anne and Caroline.
Not too long after I bonded I met Austin Kennedy..Quiet and shy at first, but then I got to know who he was on the inside and let me tell you. One of the best guys I will ever meet. So many memories...Burning Carolines pants in the backyard, late nights in his basement, "conversations", MOA, so many things..All of us fell for him at one point or another, a regular heart throb. He took me to my only prom, he took me on my first date, he did lots of things that guys never did for me...yeah..he's one of those guys... I think this picture does him some justice..
Along with that..I met Mr Woolley...He became extremely close to me..We did everything together..everyday..Good times there..and what else can I say but...Hes "in your face"
The Torres family was baptized and became some of my favorite people..Kim and I concocted the Note Notebook which we still write in today..Tony and I are accent pros together, Alex is just cool..and EDNA MODE...I will never forget those sleepovers spent poking eachother with chopsticks, looking at all our jewelry, sharing our secrets, drawing, trying to make koolaide slushies without sugar, sliding down Judd Hill in garbage bags, making up songs, singing those songs to your family, making G.I joe home movies...So many wonderful things....
I went on a few magnificant trips...Mall of America...Austin made me almost die a few times whilst driving..Charging the boys in Dollar Tree..Rice City..Dollar Tree hair gel..We didnt know Tony had to babysit therefore only went into the Dollar Tree and Claires..I know..retarded...I spent 20 dollars on Jesse McCartney cups..and I dont even like him...It was a fantastic trip
Caroline left to Utah..so what did I do? I WENT TO UTAH..So awesome..2 am trips to Walgreens to buy chocolate and magazines, midnight runaways to Dennys where a Molly Ringwald look a like worked, swimming in a lake with Larry and his gang, driving around St george, sitting atop an airport cliff next to a "questionable" couple, Visitors center videos, Going to the pool every night and always having some strange encounter, laughing up late all night, Betty Bop, making STUD shirts for our boys Austin and Danny, shopping at the LDS bookstore for Austin and Danny..Scary car rides with mountains on fire, tumbleweeds, screaming!! lol, so many wonderful things....
Caroline fell for Danny (still?.....lol)
She took me to my childhood home in Cedar City (sniff sniff)
Fresh from Lake Dirty
All these things shaped me I guess. All my friends members...such a big difference..Its amazing..My first and only blood sibling was born..A GIRL..Its miraculous what can happen in 2 years.
This blog has been an outlet for many things..When i was terribly in love, when I was thoughtful, when I was angry, when I was goofy..So many things.

You are good people. You have good hearts. You loved me, you embraced me. And that, is a priceless gift. I will never forget your smiles, laughs, your lives.
